Seattle HitList is a tool that identifies the best free sites and informal landmarks within the geographical boundaries of Seattle, Washington. The guide features over 80 MB of high resolution photos, narrative, and geo-mapping of dozens of locations that meet the HitList criteria: suitably hip, local or artistic, free or mostly free, and photogenic.
The app was developed so that potential visitors to Seattle can get a rich preview of some of the unique and notable parts the city. Long-time residents are also likely to find new points of interest.
The application is built around a HitList Navigator, an intuitive console that enables iPad and iPhone users to browse sites with the interface of their choice, either: a standard scrolling list, an interactive map, or a mosaic of thumbnails. Users can tag their favorite locations, print a catalogue, and send it as a PDF attachment.
